I have been busy between trying to get outside, moving provinces, selling my business and looking for a new opportunity. With this some how I stopped reading blogs. I am still reading books before bed, and the odd magazine, however blogs slipped down the priority list.
Tonight I started by checking out a friends blog, then another, then back to my RSS reader. What a gift it was to take the time to read about their adventures, read about others struggles as I face similar challenges myself, find a camping recipe, beautiful pictures, a place to explore I haven’t heard of before and allow myself to be inspired by the story of another. As I read I found my life getting lighter, my optimism growing and an excitement building.
The gift left by those who choose to Blog reached me, un-expectantly. I have been behind, but still posting on my blog, which now seems to lack balance. As reading tonight reminded me of the experience and joy in taking time to explore what others choose to share.

Welcome to Edmonton. I see you have discovered some of my favourite places. It is great to see the perspective of the city and surroundings from the viewpoint of a newcomer. Make sure you go to Fort Edmonton and John Janzen Nature Centre. The boys will love it.Now I see what you mean by Our Boler. Friends of mine had one and we used it for changing on the farm when it wasn’t on the road.
Thanks for the suggestions, always looking for new places to explore. Boler’s have seemed to been in everyone’s life, much to my surprise, as I had never know anyone that had anything like it when I was around, until I made the purchase. I will be posting lots more around Edmonton as we continue to explore. Thanks for commenting.
That’s what I love about blogging – you can always take a break and come back (: And I agree with you sometimes reading others blogs helps you escape life’s stresses a little bit … Have a wonderful rest of the week!
Thanks so much for taking the time to check in on my blog. Very appreciated!
I enjoyed your blog. I was searching for beautiful things to see in Alberta and found some very nice pictures on your site. Thank you for taking the time to comment on this blog
I want to thank you for liking one of my blogs from back in July and for this posting of yours here. I was really sort of slipping off the blogging wagon also, but getting your like and reading your post inspired me to get going again.
Thank you for sharing, I am glad to hear
I love little tear drop trailers, looks like a fun way to travel.
I always enjoy your blog.. and now that you are in Alberta, I get to see my favorite province through your adventures..
Thanks you. I know you have given some great suggestions of places to explore already, but I am curious what makes it your favorite province?
