A quick breakfast and we headed out. With limited fuel left we couldn’t explore too much, so we only took a few small detours as we headed for jasper.
On the west side of Abraham lake there were even more people camping, as you could drive right down to the lake.
Next we entered the park, fueled up at the intersection (with the most expensive gas I have ever purchased) and headed North up the Icefields Parkway. With my camera battery dead, I only took a few pictures with my little camera.
We stopped at the Athabasca Glacier. It is amazing how fast it is receding up into the mountains.
With a fun day of amazing sights, the views on this road are incredible, we pulled into the honeymoon lake campground. Had a swim and some dinner.
Another amazing day in the rockies. Next time I will charge my camera so I can get pictures.
