Canadian Rocky Mountains

Jasper National Park

This park is full of many amazing places to visit, and much quieter than the parks to the south.  Glaciers, waterfalls, lakes, rivers, mountain peaks, wildlife can all be found in this amazing moutain playground.

Kimberly

A beautiful little ski town just outside of Cranbrook, it is a fun place to visit summer or winter.  I also read it is the sunniest ski hill around.

Moyie Lake Provincial Park

Just south of Cranbrook, this lake is a great place to paddle or water ski.  The park has a beautiful beach and this large lake has lots to explore.

Rock Lake

On the Alberta side of Jasper National park this is a beautiful spot.  A great place to camp, at really low prices, with hiking, a playground, lake, creek, lots of wildlife and surrounded by other great places to explore.

Wasa Lake Provincial Park

A smaller lake along the Kootenay Hwy (95), great for  tour with the speed boat or a night in the camp ground.

Watson Creek Provincial Recreation Area

This campground backs onto the creek, with mountain views.  A very inexpensive place to camp, and  great place to explore from.
